SilverEdge Capital was established to meet the growing demand by private individuals looking to take a more active involvement in the management of their Investment Portfolio. Clients are attracted to the concept of independent investment advice which is provided on the back of the same rigorous approach undertaken in managing our own resources and with the same focus on capital preservation.

For private clients, the basic service involves a review of the client’s existing investment portfolio, advice on repositioning the portfolio if necessary, and the ongoing generation of investment ideas which would be centred around the client’s stated investment objectives but usually with a strong focus on capital preservation and long term capital growth.

The service also entails the provision of high quality and regular reports on a client’s Investment and/or Pension Portfolio with various analyses (performance, underlying exposure by asset class and sector, dividend/coupon completeness, reconciliations to broker accounts, monitoring of commissions and fees etc), together with appropriate commentary. Such reports would then form the basis for quarterly face to face meetings with clients.

SilverEdge Capital also acts as the Investment Advisor to The SilverEdge European Fund which received approval from the Central Bank of Ireland on 19th December 2014 and which launched in February 2015. The fund invests in European Equities and is available to Qualifying Investors. The fund has a favourable tax structure and has strong alignment of interest with the promoters and management of SilverEdge Capital investing a significant amount in the fund.
